Over de organisatie

Rianne van Dee is a contemporary dancer and teacher graduated from ArtEZ in Arnhem. She recently danced with the young company FreeBodies in Barcelona and was seen in different productions of DOX in Utrecht. Over the years she has deepened her knowledge in different styles of contemporary dance and improvisation methods. In her teaching she puts the focus on different forms of flow, articulation of the body, grounding and softness. She likes to keep an open mind and let movement speak for itself.

#2 Workshop day Poca x Jasper

I really loved the atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming. I liked that I was able to see the choreo in advance on Instagram so I could mentally prepare for vibes and attitude which helped easing me into the commercial style a bit more. (I am not a big commercial girlie, so walking in with understanding of what will happen made everything much more comfortable.)

The studio was really pretty.

My only wish would have been that I should have brought kneepads to help support my right knee through both choreos. Even though we didn't do a lot of floorwork, I am an old lady spiritually and my knees are getting messed up from pole a lot, hence I tend to be more careful but I didn't think of it even after watching the choreo on Instagram which is on me.

That's it! Lots of love, thanks a bunch, I slept like a baby afterwards, I would love to see more poca commercial cause it gives me a reason not to cut my hair 💞
