I came to this event hoping for movement, connection, and an authentic experience. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable with the facilitation, the group dynamics, and the atmosphere.

What concerned me most was the combination of inner-child play with sexualised prompts such as embodying a “naughty” or “horny” cat. Inner-child play can bring people into deeply vulnerable states. Introducing sexual energy into that context without clear boundaries and careful consideration of consent is irresponsible. People may be more suggestible, eager to please, or afraid to stand apart from the group than they realise.

I also sensed a strong tribal dynamic of lost souls: an implicit distinction between those who belonged and those who hadn't quite earned their place yet. In a space that claims to foster connection and freedom, that kind of social pressure can make it harder for people to trust their discomfort, question what's happening, or opt out.

These dynamics can be particularly harmful in spaces where people arrive seeking healing, belonging, or emotional release. A warm, playful atmosphere doesn't automatically make a space safe, and good intentions don't excuse poor boundaries.

I enjoyed some of the dancing, but the overall experience left me questioning a lot. 2 passive-agressive encounters with a man consciously walking towards me "on my path" (once near the vesteriaire, once on the dancefloor ) and looking down on me expecting me to move away (which I did not to cause any issues) was the final drop for me.
