An Autumn Gathering with Amaemi & Maxi Radio

Op zondag 29 november organiseert The Calm Company een bijzondere muzikale avond met Amaemi en Maxi Radio, waarin muziek niet alleen de achtergrond vormt, maar centraal staat.

Ceremonial Listening is een manier van luisteren waarbij je bewust de tijd neemt om muziek te ervaren. Zonder afleiding, zonder haast en met aandacht voor wat je hoort. Het gaat om de ruimte die ontstaat wanneer je je volledig op geluid richt: de compositie, de lagen, de ritmes en de emoties die muziek kan oproepen.

Tijdens deze editie verzorgt Amaemi een live muzikale performance. Haar optreden vormt het middelpunt van de avond. Na afloop is er een Q&A van 15 minuten, waarin je meer kunt horen over haar werk, inspiratie en muzikale proces.

Maxi Radio verzorgt de muzikale opening en afsluiting van de avond met een speciaal samengestelde selectie rondom het thema Autumn. Zo ontstaat er een doorlopend muzikaal programma waarin verschillende geluiden en muzikale perspectieven samenkomen.

On Sunday, November 29, The Calm Company presents a special musical evening featuring Amaemi and Maxi Radio, where music takes centre stage rather than simply serving as background.

Ceremonial Listening is an approach to experiencing music through intentional listening. Taking the time to engage with sound without distractions or rushing. It's about paying attention to the details: the compositions, layers, rhythms and emotions that music can evoke.

For this edition, Amaemi will present a live musical performance, forming the centrepiece of the evening. Following her performance, there will be a 15-minute Q&A, offering an opportunity to learn more about her work, inspiration and creative process.

Maxi Radio will open and close the evening with a specially curated selection inspired by the theme Autumn. Together, the different musical elements create a continuous programme exploring sound and different musical perspectives.
