ENGLISH:
In our daily lives, we are often busy managing, planning, worrying and/or keeping things moving. This evening offers space to slow down, pause, and mindfully explore what is truly going on. Especially during periods when life demands a lot from you, it can be helpful to find stillness and presence together with others.
What actually happens when you meditate? What do you encounter in your thoughts, emotions, and body? And what can you discover about these things when you observe them with attention and curiosity?
During this meditation evening, we combine meditation with exploration, contemplation and reflection. There is no specific goal or agenda; the value lies in the shared exploration. In this way, we create a safe, open space where we can slow down, listen, share, and learn from one another’s experiences. No prior experience with meditation or spirituality is required. There is no need to prepare anything, and there is no expectation for you to share anything; listening is just as valuable as speaking. Everything brought to the table - questions, doubts, a critical perspective - is welcome and remains within this space. Doubt, the state of "not knowing," and letting go of fixed ideas are just as important as acquiring knowledge.
Self-inquiry is not always comfortable. Some beliefs, patterns, or self-images are deeply rooted; bringing them to light can be confronting. At the same time, this is precisely where the potential for greater clarity, freedom, and relaxation lies. Topics that may arise include personal development, freedom, consciousness, relationships, trauma, or finding meaning.
