Power Switch! A Deep Dive Day for Embodied Kink Exploration

🌿 WHAT IS THIS DAY ABOUT

This is a one-day immersive event for people curious about kink, power dynamics, and switching—whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice from a feminist, queer-centric, and egalitarian perspective.

We’ll move beyond mental projections of how domination, submission, and surrender should look, and instead embody the experience—feeling, exploring, and co-creating dynamics in a safer, consensual, and fluid space.

This day is for switches, the switch-curious, and those who want to explore power exchange past rigid roles. The way in which we want to surrender is for most people vastly contextual. It depends on the day, the person and what we are ready to explore. Together, we’ll let go of getting stuck in the binary of "Dominant" and "Submissive", of "top" and "bottom", and discover how switching can be a tool for connection, empathy, and scenes that are deep and raw.

✅ Beginners who want to explore kink/DS dynamics in a queer-affirming, feminist, and non-hierarchical way.
✅ Experienced practitioners who want to refresh their perspective, try new expressions, or deepen their switching skills.
✅ Duos (all genders, orientations, and relationship styles welcome) who want to learn by doing—not just talking. If you want to join as individual, let me know. I can see if there is another person who would be open to share this day with you or can connect you to people with experience that want to join for an exchange that works for the both of you.

💡 Theory & Discussion:

-Egalitarian power exchange: How to explore DS dynamics without recreating subconscious power imbalances.

-Switching as a practice: Why experiencing multiple sides can deepen your understanding of power exchange, consent, and embodied connection.

-Queer and feminist perspectives: How to center agency, mutuality, and pleasure in your explorations.


🧘 Embodied Workshops:

-Somatic exercises to ground yourself in your body, sensations and expressions.

-Guided duo explorations where you’ll practice switching roles in a structured and safer way.

-Skill-building for negotiation, communication, and aftercare.


🤝 Community & Reflection:

-Group discussions to share insights, challenges, and discoveries.

-Space for connection with like-minded explorers in a judgment-free zone.



🎯 WHY THIS DEEP DIVE DAY

Kink and power dynamics are often framed in binary, rigid ways. Many people get stuck in exploring their intimate expressions from their head and wonder why their expressions don't go as deep as they actually desire. This Deep Dive Day focuses on building the safety to actually be vulnerable. From that safety we can allow for surrender and having the parts of ourselves be met in a way that is raw, real and resonant.

This day is an invitation to:
✨ Step out of theory and into experience—feel what it’s like to lead, follow, give, receive and dance between them.
✨ Challenge your own assumptions about power, control, and surrender.
✨ Build confidence in your ability to switch, negotiate, and co-create dynamics that work for you.
✨ Connect with people that values consent, curiosity, and care.


📅 PRACTICAL INFO

What to bring:
-Comfortable clothing and/or clothing that support how you want to express that day
-Food for the lunch break.
-Toys you might like to play with.
-A cover for matrasses or a big towel.


Approximate Timetable:
11:00-11:30: Opening, Group agreements and Desired Learnings.
11:30-12:15: Embodiment & Playful Switching Exercise
12:15-13:30: Switching Power Exchanges: Mental and emotional surrender
13:30-14:30: Break
14:30-16:30: Switching Topping and Bottoming for physical sensations: Working with Bodies
16:30-17:00: Break
17:00-19:00: Switchy fun in practice: build your own scene(s).


GROUP AGREEMENTS

To ensure a nurturing and safer experience for everyone, we agree to:

-Consent: Always ask for and receive explicit consent before engaging in any activity. Respect your own and others' boundaries!
-Care: Take care of yourself and others. Visit the quiet space when needed and communicate to the team if you would like some care from us.
-Confidentiality: Respect everyone's privacy and do not share personal information outside of the event. You are free to share about your own experience without identifiable information of other participants.
-Contact: This isn't the place to join with the intention of finding your next date. It is possible to respectfully exchange contact info at the workshop with other participants. "No" to exchanging contact info is, of course, a full sentence! If contact info hasn't been explicitly exchanged at the event, DO NOT CONTACT people AFTER the event. There should be enough time during the event.
-Come Sober: No substance use before or during the workshop.


CANCELLATION POLICY

-Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 14 days before the workshop will receive a full refund minus possible transaction costs (e.g. booking costs Hipsy)
-Partial Refund: Cancellations made up until 7 days before the workshop will receive a 50% refund.
-No Refund: Cancellations made 7 days or less before the workshop will not be eligible for a refund. However, your spot can be transferred to another person. I need to agree the person is a suitable replacement to be allowed to transfer the ticket.
-Facilitator Cancellation: If I need to cancel the workshop for any reason, all participants will receive a full refund.

PRICING

The group is limited to 6 duo's. Price per ticket: 245 euro.

Additional costs are:
-Fixed fee Hipsy per ticket: €0,80
-Transaction costs are dependend on the payment method:
Bancontact/iDeal: €0,35 per transaction
Creditcard: 3,9% of the total amount
PayPal: 6,1% of the total amount
